An inside wiring architecture is provided having a central service connection center or central point of connection (44) located within a residential building (14) to support FTTC or FTTN distribution of combined VDSL video, voice, and data services to residential buildings. A system for communicating combined video, voice and data signals to and from residential buildings incorporates the inside wiring architecture. A network processing terminal (12) is located within a predetermined distance from a residential building (14) and arranged to process the voice, video and data signals to and from a central office (16). The cental service connection center (44) is arranged to send and receive voice signals over at least a first twisted copper pair cable (50) connected to a telephone terminal, digital video and data signals over a second twisted copper pair cable (46) connected to a STB located within the building, and analog video signals over a coaxial cable connection (46) to a television terminal. The STB is arranged to distribute the digital video to the television terminal and the data signals to a computer terminal. An aerial drop feed in the form of a twisted pair of copper wires (26) is used to connect the network processing terminal (12) to the central service connection center (44) to reduce the generation of noise and extend the range of the VDSL signals.

L'invention concerne une architecture de câblage intérieur comprenant un service de connexion central ou un point de connexion central (CPC) (44) situé dans un immeuble (14) résidentiel, et pouvant assurer une distribution FTTC ou FTTN de services combinés vidéo VDSL (Very-high-data-rate Digital Subscriber Line : ligne d'abonné numérique à débit ultra-rapide), téléphone et données dans les immeubles résidentiels. L'invention concerne également un système permettant la transmission de signaux combinés vidéo, téléphoniques et de données entrant et sortant d'immeubles résidentiels, et comprenant cette architecture de câblage intérieur. Un terminal (12) de traitement en réseau est installé dans un rayon de prédéterminé autour de l'immeuble (14) résidentiel et assure le traitement des signaux téléphoniques, des signaux vidéo et des signaux de données entrant et sortant d'un central (16). Le service (44) de connexion central est configuré de manière à envoyer et recevoir les signaux téléphoniques via au moins un premier câble (50) de cuivre à paire torsadée connecté à un terminal téléphonique, les signaux vidéo et les signaux de données numériques via un second câble (46) de cuivre à paire torsadée connecté à un boîtier de raccordement situé dans le bâtiment, et les signaux vidéo analogiques via une liaison par câble coaxial avec un récepteur de télévision. Le boîtier de raccordement distribue les signaux vidéo numériques à un récepteur de télévision et les signaux de données à un terminal d'ordinateur. Une descente d'antenne sous forme d'un câble (26) de cuivre à paire torsadée sert à connecter le terminal (12) de traitement en réseau au service (44) de connexion central de manière à réduire la production de bruit et à augmenter la portée des signaux VSDL.
