The invention concerns a method for pointing a fixed reflector antenna (10) comprising at least a transmission/reception source capable of aiming at a plurality of satellites located between two extreme positions S1, S2 of a geostationary orbit (8). The invention is characterised in that it consists in offsetting said transmission/reception source by a distance d relatively to the middle of the focal line (6) so as to aim at one of the extreme positions S1, S2, said distance d being calculated on the basis of an angle $g(a) formed by the line connecting the origin O of the reflector (10) focal axis to the extreme position aimed at, and the line connecting said origin O to the median position SM of the geostationary orbit (8); in rotating the reflector (10) by angle $g(a) about an axis D perpendicular to the plane containing the focal line (6) and the origin O of the focal axis, then in adjusting the angle of list by rotating the antenna (2) on itself about the pointing direction of the satellite located on the extreme position aimed at, so as to aim at the other extreme position and to align the focal line (6) on the set of satellites located between the positions S1 and S2.

Procédé de pointage d'une antenne fixe (2) à réflecteur (10) comportant au moins une source d'émission/réception susceptible de viser une pluralité de satellites situés entre deux positions extrêmes S1, S2 d'une orbite géostationnaire (8). Selon l'invention, on décale ladite source d'émission/réception d'une distance d par rapport au milieu de la ligne focale (6) de manière à viser l'une des positions extrêmes S1, S2, ladite distance d étant calculée en fonction d'un angle $g(a) formé, d'une part, par la ligne reliant l'origine O de l'axe focal du réflecteur (10) à la position extrême visée, et, d'autre part, la ligne reliant ladite origine O à la position médiane SM de l'orbite géostationnaire (8), on fait tourner le réflecteur (10) de l'angle $g(a) autour d'un axe D perpendiculaire au plan contenant la ligne focale (6) et l'origine O de l'axe focal, puis on effectue un réglage de l'angle de gîte en tournant l'antenne (2) sur elle-même autour de la direction de pointage du satellite situé sur la position extrême visée, de manière à viser l'autre position extrême et à aligner la ligne focale (6) sur l'ensemble des satellites situés entre les positions S1 et S2.
