Abstract
(EN)
An order server receives an order for one or more food items for a customer. The order is received from a first location such as from a customer's home via a telephone or computer. The order server stores date representing the order for future use when the customer arrives at a restaurant to pick up the order. When the customer arrives at a second location (i.e. the location of the restaurant), he is identified by for example, reading his licence plate or another customer identifier. Then the food items are prepared (e.g. cooked and packaged). Thus, the food items are timely prepared only when the customer is ready for them.

Selon l'invention, un serveur de commande reçoit une commande d'un client, concernant un ou plusieurs produits alimentaires. La commande est passée à partir d'un premier endroit, tel que le domicile du client, par téléphone ou par service informatique. Le serveur de commande stocke les données de la commande pour une utilisation ultérieure, c'est-à-dire lorsque le client arrive à un restaurant pour emporter la commande. Lorsque le client arrive à un second endroit (c'est-à-dire l'emplacement du restaurant), il est identifié, par exemple, par lecture de sa plaque d'immatriculation ou d'un autre identificateur de client. Les produits alimentaires sont ensuite préparés (cuisinés et emballés, par exemple). Ainsi, les produits alimentaires sont préparés au bon moment, seulement lorsque le client est prêt à les recevoir.
