Protective system for optical components, comprising a container (2), at least one optical component (8) fixed inside the said container (2) and a length of optical fibre (F) which has a plastic coating (27), connected to the said optical component. An optical feedthrough (20) for the said section of fibre is placed in a feedthrough hole (41) in a wall of the said container and hermetically fixed therein, the said optical feedthrough (20) comprising an elongate body (21) which has a longitudinal feedthrough hole (22) into which the said optical fibre (F) can be placed and a portion of the said length of fibre (F) being stripped of the said coating (27). The said portion of fibre (F) which is stripped of coating is soldered to one end of the said elongate body (21) by means of a metallic solder (29), and this soldering, in the surface portion around the said portion of fibre (F), is coated with a layer of a polymeric sealant (51).

L'invention concerne un système de protection pour composants optiques, qui comporte un contenant (2), au moins un composant optique (8) fixé à l'intérieur dudit contenant (2) et une longueur de fibre optique (F) pourvue d'un revêtement plastique (27) et connectée audit composant optique. Une traversée optique (20) pour ladite section de fibre est placée dans un trou de traversée (41) d'une paroi dudit contenant et y est hermétiquement fixée, ladite traversée optique (20) comportant un corps allongé (21) présentant un trou de traversée longitudinal (22) dans lequel on peut placer ladite fibre optique (F) et une partie de ladite longueur de fibre (F) dénudée dudit revêtement (27). Ladite partie de fibre (F) dénudée de revêtement est soudée à une extrémité dudit corps allongé (21) à l'aide d'une brasure métallique (29), et ce brasage est recouvert, à la partie de surface entourant ladite partie de fibre (F), d'une couche de produit d'étanchéité polymère (51).
