Die Erfindung beschreibt ein Lichtquellenelement (10), welches zur Hinterleuchtung von Flüssigkristall-Displays verwendet werden kann und welches eine schräggestellte Lichtaustrittsfläche (51A) und/oder Lichteintrittsfläche (5B) aufweist. An seinen Oberflächen ist der Lichtwellenleiter (1, 21, 31) von Reflektoren (4, 24, 34) umgeben, in die gegebenenfalls geeignete Öffnungsbereiche (5B, 25B, 35B) geformt sind. Die Erfindung ermöglicht die Anordnung einer Vielzahl von Lichtquellen (5, 25, 35, 45) und/oder eine direktere Betrachtung und somit eine entsprechende Steigerung der Leuchtdichte. Die Erfindung beschreibt ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Lichtquellenelements mit integriertem Reflektor.

The invention relates to a light source element (10), which can be used for back-lighting liquid crystal displays and which comprises a slanted light exit surface (51A) and/or light entry surface (5B). The optical waveguide (1, 21, 31), on the surface thereof, is enclosed by reflectors (4, 24, 34) in which appropriate opening areas (5B, 25B, 35B) can be formed if needed. The invention makes an arrangement of a multitude of light sources (5, 25, 35, 45) and/or a direct viewing possible, thus attaining a corresponding increase in luminance. The invention also relates to a method for producing a light source element comprising an integrated reflector.

L'invention concerne une source lumineuse (10) qui peut être utilisée pour le rétro-éclairage des afficheurs à cristaux liquides et qui comporte une surface de sortie de lumière (51A) et/ou une surface d'entrée de lumière (5B) oblique. Sur ses surfaces, le guide d'onde (1, 21, 31) est entouré de réflecteurs (4, 24, 34) pouvant présenter des zones d'ouverture (5B, 25B, 35B) appropriées. L'invention permet l'agencement d'une pluralité de sources lumineuses (5, 25, 35, 45) et/ou une observation plus directe, donc une augmentation de la luminance. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de fabriquer une source lumineuse à réflecteur intégré.
