The invention aims at avoiding the inconvenience or existing pumps and enables to reach significant low pressure levels, while ensuring that the pipes do not collapse. When the pipes containing a fluid at a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure, they retain the deformation caused by the rotor rollers, and do not recover their initial volume. The invention also concerns in its widest meaning a peristaltic compressor operating in a depressurised chamber, thereby enabling to supply at high pressure (one or several types of atmosphere) a gas (or any other fluid) whereof the initial pressure is arbitrarily low.

L'invention vise à éviter l'inconvénient des pompes existantes et permet d'atteindre des niveaux de dépression importants, en évitant l'écrasement des tuyaux. Lorsque les tuyaux contiennent un fluide à une pression inférieure à la pression atmosphérique, ils conservent la déformation occasionnée par les galets du rotor, et ne reprennent pas leur volume initial. L'invention concerne dans son acception la plus générale un compresseur péristaltique fonctionnant dans une enceinte dépressurisée, ce qui permet d'amener à pression élevée (une ou plusieurs atmosphères) un gaz (ou autre fluide) dont la pression initiale est arbitrairement basse.
