A conveyor device (30) capable of moving a load also in a direction perpendicular to a main transporting direction so that the load can be changed and held in any posture, wherein a plurality of conveyor sub units (1) are connected endlessly to each other, the conveyor sub units (1) themselves having a function as a belt conveyor and its belt driving direction being perpendicular to the main transporting direction of the conveyor device, the conveyor device (30) is combined with a control indicator so that a part or all of the conveyor sub units (1) forming the conveyor device (30) can be operated in association with each other, the conveyor sub units (1) comprising a belt, a means for driving the belt, a means for communication with the control indicator and other conveyor sub units, a means for detecting the position of loads on the belt, and a control means for driving the belt in forward and reverse directions using information from each of these means.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif transporteur (30) capable également de déplacer une charge perpendiculairement au sens principal de transport de façon à pouvoir modifier et maintenir la posture de la charge. Le dispositif transporteur (30) réunit une pluralité de sous-ensembles transporteurs (1) montés en chaîne sans fin. Chaque sous-ensemble transporteur (1) est capable d'une fonction de bande transporteuse dont le sens d'entraînement de la bande est perpendiculaire au sens principal. Le dispositif transporteur (30) est équipé d'un contrôleur commandant la mise en oeuvre de tout ou partie des sous-ensembles transporteurs (1) du transporteur (30) en coopération les uns avec les autres. Ces sous-ensembles transporteurs (1) sont constitués d'une bande, d'un organe entraînant la bande, d'un organe de communication avec le contrôleur et avec les autres sous-ensembles transporteurs, d'un détecteur de position des charges sur la bande, et d'un organe de commande commandant le sens de défilement de la bande en avant ou en arrière en fonction des informations provenant des différents organes.
