Zur Herstellung eines Katalysatorkörpers werden auf einen Tragkörper (1) durch thermisches Spritzen ein Aluminiumhydroxid und ein metallisches Aluminium (4) getrennt voneinander gleichzeitig auf den Tragkörper (1) gespritzt. Dabei wird das Aluminiumhydroxid thermisch in ein Aluminiumoxid (3) umgesetzt. Zusätzlich wird getrennt von dem metallischen Aluminium (4) gleichzeitig eine Aluminium/Silizium-Verbindung thermisch auf den Tragkörper (1) gespritzt, und eine metallische Wirkkomponente zugeführt. Ein derartiger durch thermi-sches Spritzen hergestellter Katalysatorkörper eignet sich insbesondere zum Abbau von Schadstoffen in einem Temperaturbereich oberhalb von 400 °C.

The aim of the invention is to produce a body of a catalytic converter. To this end, an aluminium hydroxide and a metallic aluminium (4) are simultaneously and separately, thermally sprayed onto a support body (1), whereby the aluminium hydroxide is thermally converted into an aluminium oxide (3). Furthermore, an aluminium silicon composition is thermally sprayed onto the support body (1) simultaneously with and separately from the metallic aluminium (4) and a metallic active ingredient is added. A body of a catalytic converter which is produced by the thermal spraying is especially useful for decomposing harmful substances within a temperature range of more than 400° C.

L'invention vise à produire un corps de pot catalytique sur un corps support (1). A cet effet, un hydroxyde d'aluminium et un aluminium métallique (4) sont pulvérisés simultanément séparément l'un de l'autre par thermo-injection sur le corps support (1). A cette fin, l'hydroxyde d'aluminium est converti thermiquement en un oxyde d'aluminium (3). De plus, un composé aluminium/silicium est pulvérisé thermiquement, de manière simultanée et séparée de l'aluminium métallique (4), sur le corps support (1). Un constituant actif métallique est adjoint. Un corps de pot catalytique de ce type produit par thermo-injection s'utilise notamment pour décomposer des polluants dans une plage de températures supérieures à 400 °C.
