Abstract
(EN) A chlorophyll-rich and salt-resistant chlorella which contains a large amount of chlorophyll. When used as a feed for rotifers in pisciculture, the chlorella makes it possible to provide fishes with relieved contamination with environmental contaminants such as dioxin having been concentrated by the food chain from seawater. Further, it survives over a long time in seawater and, therefore, is suitable for feeds for sea surface fish cultivation, fishery feeds, etc. This chlorophyll-rich and salt-resistant chlorella mutant, which can grow in a medium containing 1 % by weight or more of sodium chloride and contains chlorophyll at a high concentration (i.e., 4 % or more in total on the basis of dry matter), can be constructed by mutagenizing chlorella by repeatedly UV-irradiating and treating with a mutagen such as a methanesulfonic acid ester or acriflavine.
(FR) Cette invention a trait à une chlorelle riche en chlorophylle et résistant au sel. Utilisée comme nourriture pour rotifères en pisciculture, cette chlorelle permet de protéger les poissons contre une contamination par polluants environnementaux, notamment par la dioxine concentrée dans la chaîne alimentaire dans l'eau de mer. Cette chlorelle, qui, en outre, survit longtemps dans l'eau de mer, convient comme nourriture pour pisciculture maritime en surface, comme nourritures halieutiques, etc. Cette chlorelle mutante riche en chlorophylle et résistant au sel, pouvant se développer dans un milieu contenant une quantité égale ou supérieure à 1 % en poids de chlorure de sodium et renfermant une forte concentration chlorophyllienne (c'est-à-dire, 4 % ou plus au total en se basant sur le volume de matière sèche), peut être obtenue par mutagenèse de la chlorelle par soumissions répétées de celle-ci à des rayons ultraviolets et par traitement au moyen d'un agent mutagène tel que l'ester d'acide méthane-sulfonique ou l'acriflavine.
