Abstract

(FR) Un panneau d'affichage à cristaux liquides classique du type MVA présente une vitesse de réaction peu élevée lors du passage d'un affichage noir alimenté par une tension de commande de 1V à un affichage en demi-teinte de faible luminance alimenté par une tension de commande de 2 à 3V. L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides commandant un panneau d'affichage à cristaux liquides du type MVA, dans lequel : lors du passage d'un premier facteur de transmission d'un pixel de cristaux liquides correspondant à une électrode de pixel à un deuxième facteur de transmission plus élevé que le premier, une tension de commande correspondant au deuxième facteur de transmission et supérieure à une première tension de commande voulue est appliquée à une électrode de pixel au cours d'une première période de trame, pendant laquelle a lieu le passage au deuxième facteur de transmission, et une première tension d'affichage voulue est appliquée au début d'une deuxième période de trame. L'invention permet de raccourcir le temps de réaction et d'assurer le passage sans surmodulation d'un affichage noir à un affichage en demi-teinte à faible luminance, d'un affichage noir à un affichage en demi-teinte à luminance élevée, et d'un affichage noir à un affichage blanc.
