The present invention relates to a single-blade main rotor for helicopters designed so that the component of the blade lift normal to the rotational axis of the rotor is compensated by the inertial force obtained through the self-adjustment of the position of the rotor centre of mass relative to its rotation axis, it being provided that the position of the rotor centre of mass is determined by the coning angle of the blade.

La présente invention concerne un rotor principal à une pale pour hélicoptères, ce rotor étant conçu pour que le composant de la portance de pale normale pour l'axe de rotation du rotor soit compensé par la force d'inertie produite par l'auto-ajustement de la position du centre de masse du rotor par rapport à son axe de rotation, ceci à condition que la position du centre de masse du rotor soit déterminée par l'angle de conicité de ladite pale.
