(EN)The present invention comprises compositions and methods directed to analysis and detection of target nucleic acid sequences. Particularly, the methods and compositions comprise formation of duplex and triplex structures. In some embodiments, hairpin structures are employed. Novel restriction methods are provided for restriction of nucleic acids. Signal amplification systems, including duplex, triplex and MTRF systems, are also provided that allow for detection of very low copy number targets. These compositions and methods are especially useful in diagnostic assays.
(FR)L'invention concerne des compositions et des méthodes permettant d'analyser et de détecter des séquences d'acide nucléique cibles. D'une manière spécifique, ces méthodes et compositions consistent à former des structures duplex et triplex. Dans certains modes de réalisation, on utilise des structures en épingle à cheveux. L'invention concerne en outre de nouvelles méthodes pour la restriction des acides nucléiques.
