(EN)The present invention relates generally to a method of treating disease conditions by the administration of an inhibitor of phospholipase activity. More particularly, the present invention contemplates a method for facilitating apoptosis of cancer cells or otherwise reducing or preventing growth of cancer cells by inhibiting phospholipase activity. Even more particularly, the present invention contemplates the use of inhibitors of phospholipase A¿2? enzymes in the treatment and prophylaxis of cancer. The present invention further provides biological compositions comprising an inhibitor of phospholipase A¿2? alone or in combination with other agents in the treatment of cancer.
(FR)L'invention concerne d'une manière générale le traitement d'états pathologiques par l'administration d'un inhibiteur de l'activité de la phospholipase, et plus particulièrement un traitement contribuant à l'apoptose des cellules cancéreuses ou à réduire ou à prévenir d'une autre façon le développement des cellules cancéreuse en inhibant l'activité de la phospholipase.
