(EN)The present invention relates to a method for inhibiting dental resorptive lesions and other disease states associated with dental resorptive lesions in a mammal by administering a therapeutically effective amount of a bisphosphonate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to a mammal in need thereof. This invention also relates to methods of alleviating of pain and reducing the risk of tooth loss associated with dental resorptive lesions in mammals.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé d'inhibition des lésions dentaires de résorption et d'autres pathologies associées auxdites lésions, chez un mammifère, ce procédé consistant à administrer une dose efficace sur le plan thérapeutique d'un biphosphonate ou d'un sel de celui-ci, acceptable sur le plan pharmacologique, au mammifère nécessitant ce traitement. L'invention concerne également des procédés de soulagement de la douleur et de réduction du risque de perte de dents associés aux lésions dentaires de résorption chez des mammifères.
