Title (EN) METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BEARER PROPERTIES
(FR) PROCEDE PERMETTANT DE COMMANDER LES PROPRIETES D'UN SUPPORT
Abstract: front page image
(EN)The invention concerns the control of connections in cellular telecommunication systems. According to the invention, the available radio resources are controlled by allowing only certain conbinations of transport formats to be used by a single user. The inventive method restricts the combinations of bearer bit rates which can be used, without strictly limiting some bearers from using highest bit rates. This inventive approach allows flexible overall control of radio resources, while retaining the possibility of bearers to select between different bit rates.
