Title (EN) ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH SOLAR CELL
(FR) DISPOSITIF ELECTRONIQUE COMPORTANT UNE CELLULE SOLAIRE
Abstract: front page image
(EN)Conventionally when the dial of an electronic watch is composed of a solar cell comprising a substrate and an amorphous silicon film on the substrate, the design of the dial is greatly restricted by the structure. According to the invention, the substrate constituting a solar cell has a light transmittance, and hence the solar cell cannot be seen. By using such a substrate as the dial or the windshield glass, a watch with a solar cell free from restriction on the design of the dial can be produced.
