(EN)A device for casting cast iron including a metal chill mould (100) having outer walls (206, 208, 210) and inner walls (212, 213, 220). The inner walls are in contact with a mould (300). The device further includes pressurising means (400) for applying a variable pressure on the outer walls (206, 208, 210) of the chill mould, in order to control changes in volume of molten material enclosed by the chill mould, and chill mould cooling means (500) for variable cooling of the inner walls (212, 213, 220) of said chill mould. A method using said device for carrying out the invention is also disclosed.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un dispositif de fonte moulée, qui comprend une coquille métallique (100) présentant des parois externes (206, 208, 210) et des parois internes (212, 213, 220). Les parois internes sont en contact avec une coquille (300). Le dispositif inclut également un moyen de pressurisation (400) destiné à appliquer une pression variable sur les parois externes (206, 208, 210) de la coquille afin de réguler les changements de volume de la matière en fusion enfermée dans la coquille. Le dispositif inclut en outre un moyen de refroidissement (500) de la coquille pour réaliser un refroidissement variable des parois internes (212, 213, 220) de la coquille. On décrit un procédé mettant en oeuvre ledit dispositif pour réaliser l'invention.
