Abstract

The present invention relates to improvements in small computing devices, such as palm top type computers and mobile telephones. The small computing devices are adapted in accordance with the present invention to be able to access the large user interface, such as an interface associated with a desktop PC. The application running on the small computing device can control the display of the PC and receive commands from the QWERTY keyboard of the PC. The software application running on the computing device is adapted so that a different display is output depending upon whether the small user interface of the small computer is being accessed or the large user interface of the PC is being accessed.

L'invention concerne des améliorations destinées à de petits dispositifs informatiques, tels que des ordinateurs de type de poche et des téléphones mobiles, qui sont adaptés, selon l'invention, de façon à pouvoir accéder une grande interface utilisateur, celle associée à un ordinateur individuel de bureau (PC), par exemple. L'application fonctionnant sur le petit dispositif informatique peut commander l'écran du PC et recevoir des ordres du clavier QWERTY du PC. L'application du logiciel fonctionnant sur le dispositif informatique est conçue de façon à produire un affichage différent selon que l'on a accès à la petite interface utilisateur du petit ordinateur ou à la grande interface utilisateur du PC.
