An image reader and an image forming device, constructed in a simple arrangement to prevent floating of a document, even if a thin one, by imparting a sufficient pressing force thereto, to improve the operability and durability of a document pressing plate (14), and to make it possible to reduce the weight and thickness of a document holder, including a flexible locking member (147) that, when a first pressure plate (141) and a second pressure plate (142) are folded in the middle, softly supports the two pressure plates (141, 142), thereby elastically lock the two pressure plates (141, 142) together at an angle in a suitable range, thus mitigating the impact force exerted upon locking of the two pressure plates (141, 142).

L'invention concerne un lecteur d'images et un dispositif de formation d'images, construits selon une configuration simple, de manière à éviter qu'un document, même mince, ne flotte. A cet effet, le document est soumis à une force de pression suffisante, ce qui permet d'améliorer le fonctionnement et la durabilité de la plaque (14) presse-documents, et de réduire le poids et l'épaisseur du porte-documents, qui comprend un élément (147) de verrouillage flexible qui, lorsque la première plaque (141) de pression et la seconde plaque (142) de pression sont pliées en leur milieu, soutient légèrement les deux plaques (141, 142) de pression, verrouillant ainsi élastiquement les deux plaques (141, 142) de pression selon un angle compris dans une plage appropriée, ce qui permet de réduire la force d'impact exercée lors du verrouillage des deux plaques (141, 142) de pression.
