Abstract

The invention concerns a method for making an aqueous sodium chloride solution which consists in: dispersing in water a solid matter comprising sodium chloride and heavy metals; alkalising the resulting aqueous medium to precipitate the heavy metals in the form of metal hydroxides; co-precipitating calcium carbonate with the metal hydroxides in the aqueous medium and then subjecting the aqueous medium to mechanical clarification.

Procédé de fabrication d'une solution aqueuse de chlorure de sodium, selon lequel on disperse, dans de l'eau, une matière solide comprenant du chlorure de sodium et des métaux lourds, on alcalinise le milieu aqueux ainsi obtenu, pour précipiter les métaux lourds à l'état d'hydroxydes métalliques, on coprécipite du carbonate de calcium avec les hydroxydes métalliques dans le milieu aqueux et on soumet ensuite le milieu aqueux à une clarification mécanique.
