(EN)A master cylinder (10) having a first housing (12) with an axial bore (14) therein which is connected to a second housing (58) of a reservoir (38). The axial bore (14) has a first replenishing port (16) surrounded by a first boss (18) and a second replenishing port (20) surrounded by a second boss (22). A first radial bore (40) in the first boss (18) extends from the first replenishing port (16) while a second radial bore (48) in the second boss (22) extends from the second replenishing port (20). First (56) and second (58) spigots which extends from the second housing (58) are respectively located in the first (40) and second (48) radial bores to provide first and second flow communication paths from the reservoir (38) to the axial bore (14). The first housing (12) is secured to the second housing (58) by a connecting arrangement characterized by a first pin (62) that extends through the first boss (18) and first spigot (56) and a second pin (64) that extends through the second boss (22) and the second spigot (58) to respectively retain first (44) and second (52) seals within the first (40) and second (48) radial bores without the introduction of side load forces which may provide a leak path between either the first or second flow communication paths and the surrounding environment.

L'alésage axial (14) comporte un premier orifice (16) de remplissage entouré d'un premier bossage (18) et un second orifice (20) de remplissage entouré d'un second bossage (22). Un premier alésage radial (40) ménagé dans le premier bossage (18) part du premier orifice (16) de remplissage tandis qu'un second alésage radial (48) ménagé dans le second bossage (22) part du second orifice (20) de remplissage.
