A method of manufacturing diamond cutting tools (10) through an instantaneous heating process and a quick cooling process and a diamond cutting tool manufactured by the method is disclosed. The method heats a blank (1) and shank (3) through the instantaneous heating process wherein a temperature instantaneously rises at a rate of 500 - 1000 °C/min. Thereafter, the blank and the shank are left at a temperature of 700 - 1200 °C for a short period of time, thus being cooled and integrated into a desired cutting tool. The method of this invention uses a light heating process, using a halogen lamp (5) as the instantaneous heating process. In the method, a welding chamber (6) for blanks is designed to be controlled in both pressure and atmosphere so as to accomplish a desired degree of vacuum, thus accomplishing a desired atmosphere capable of preventing a thermal deterioration of a diamond blank, a welding metal or a shank material.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication d'outils de coupe au diamant (10) mettant en jeu un processus de chauffage instantané et un processus de refroidissement rapide, ainsi qu'à un outil de coupe au diamant fabriqué conformément audit procédé. Ledit procédé consiste à chauffer une ébauche (1) et une tige (3) selon un processus de chauffage instantané au cours duquel la température s'élève instantanément de 500 à 1000 °C par minute. Puis on laisse l'ébauche et la tige à une température comprise entre 700 et 1200 °C pendant un court laps de temps, ce qui assure leur refroidissement et permet leur intégration en un outil de coupe souhaité. Le processus de chauffage instantané mis en oeuvre par le procédé de cette invention est un processus de chauffage léger effectué au moyen d'une lampe halogène (5). Selon ce procédé, une chambre de soudage (6) pour ébauches est conçue de sorte que la pression et l'atmosphère dans cette chambre puissent être régulées dans le but d'obtenir un degré souhaité de vide, et donc de produire une atmosphère souhaitée susceptible d'empêcher une détérioration thermique d'une ébauche en diamant, d'un métal de soudage ou d'un matériau de tige.
