(EN)A fixture (10) for holding a brake drum or other similarly shaped workpiece (12) for machining. The fixture includes a body (30) having a body cavity (32) and a clamping assembly disposed therein. The clamping assembly (42) includes a positioning plate (44) having a plurality of positioning posts (60) secured thereto. The positioning posts are received within fastener apertures (24) formed in the brake drum mounting face (26, 28) for locating the drum within the fixture so that the drum axis (16) is coaxially aligned with the fixture axis (34) for proper machining.
(FR)L'invention concerne un dispositif (10) de serrage destiné au support d'un tambour de frein ou autre pièce (12) à usiner de forme analogue. Ce dispositif comprend un corps (30) pourvu d'une cavité (32) et un ensemble (42) de serrage disposé à l'intérieur.
