(EN)In order to always operate an optimal number of checkout terminals for, e.g., collecting/transmitting transaction information in a store, prevent degradation of customer service, reduce the personnel costs of useless checkout terminal operators, thereby improve the productivity, and operate the store efficiently, a store operation managing apparatus is provided with a customer counting unit (1) for counting the customers in the store and a number-of-checkout-terminals-in-operation determining unit (2) for determining the number of checkout terminals based on the results of the counting by the customer counting unit (1).
(FR)L'invention concerne un dispositif de gestion de magasin permettant d'ouvrir à tout moment un nombre optimal de terminaux de paiement afin de collecter/transmettre des informations relatives aux transactions dans un magasin, d'empêcher la dégradation du service clients, de réduire les coûts de personnel résultant de caissiers inutiles et d'améliorer ainsi la productivité et d'assurer une exploitation efficace du magasin. Ce dispositif de gestion de magasin comprend une unité (1) de comptage des clients permettant de compter les clients dans le magasin, et une unité (2) déterminant le nombre de terminaux de paiement ouverts en fonction des résultats obtenus par l'unité (1) de comptage des clients.
