(EN)A down hole motor assembly which comprises an hydraulic drive portion, a drill bit operatively connected to the drive portion and a disengage mechanism (11) arranged to disengage drive to the drill bit. The disengage mechanism (11) is arranged to be actuated by supplying drilling fluid to the drive portion at a flow rate which is greater than the flow rate at which fluid is supplied to run the drive portion during normal drilling. The disengage mechanism being arranged to be re-set so that drive is reconnected to the drill bit when the fluid supply to the drive portion is shut off.
(FR)Ensemble moteur de fond de puits comprenant une partie de commande hydraulique, un trépan accouplé à cette partie de commande et un mécanisme de désaccouplement (11) servant à désaccoupler la commande par rapport au trépan. Ce mécanisme (11) est conçu pour être mis en service par l'alimentation en liquide de forage de la partie de commande à un débit supérieur à celui de l'alimentation en liquide permettant de faire fonctionner la partie de commande pendant une opération de forage normale. Le mécanisme de désaccouplement peut être remis à son état de réglage initial, de façon à accoupler de nouveau la commande au trépan quand on coupe l'alimentation en liquide de la partie de commande.
