(EN)This invention relates to novel ion-conducting materials suitable for use as solid polymer electrolyte membranes in electrochemical applications including fuel cell systems. More specifically, these novel ion-conducting polymers are based on sulfonated polyaryletherketone polymers or sulfonated polyphenylsulfone polymers, including copolymers, or blends thereof. The present invention also describes novel processes for producing these ion-conducting materials.
