Abstract
(EN) Method and apparatus for enabling resuspension wash and magnetic localization of sample components bound to particles with magnetic properties in reaction vessels during separation and wash for enhanced chemiluminescent signal generation in biomedical assays. The assays involve moving reaction vessels past magnets that partially localize the particles prior to passing a reduced strength magnet where washing occurs, with or without resuspension, after separating out the unbound particles and liquid. The band of particles is subsequently resuspended in acid for chemiluminescent purposes. A variety of magnet configurations are employed to realize the reduced strength magnet. Reduced strength magnets adjacent the full width magnets prevent the band of magnetic particles from becoming split. The localized particles enable more efficient resuspension by reagent.
(FR) Procédé et appareil permettant la remise en suspension, le lavage et la localisation magnétique de composants d'échantillons, liés à des particules présentant des propriétés magnétiques, dans des cuves à réaction, pendant la séparation et le lavage, pour l'amélioration de la génération de signaux et de la chimiluminescence dans des essais biomédicaux. Lesdits essais consistent à faire passer des cuves à réaction devant des aimants qui localisent partiellement les particules, après quoi elles passent devant un aimant de force réduite situé au niveau du lavage, avec ou sans remise en suspension, après la séparation des particules non liées et le liquide. La bande de particules est ensuite remise en suspension dans de l'acide à des fins de chimiluminescence. Plusieurs configurations d'aimant sont utilisées pour la fabrication de l'aimant à puissance réduite. Les aimants de puissance réduite, adjacents aux aimants pleine largeur, empêchent que la bande de particules magnétique se fende. Les particules localisées permettent une remise en suspension plus efficace au moyen d'un réactif.
