Abstract

The present invention refers to a method (40) for detecting network elements relaying communications between a base station and a mobile station in cellular communication network, where the communication relayed via at least one of the said elements is detected (43) by the increase of time delay compared to the time delay of mobile stations communicating directly with the base station. The present invention refers also to a system for detecting network elements relaying communications between a base station and a mobile station in cellular communication network, which system has means for detecting communication relayed via at least one of said elements by the increase of time delay compared to the time delays of mobile stations communicating directly with the base station. The present invention refers also to a network element for cellular communication network, which element comprises a system for identifying communication relaying elements on the grounds of the communication time delays.

La présente invention concerne un procédé (40) de détection d'éléments de réseau servant de relais pour les communications entre une station de base et une station mobile d'un réseau de communication cellulaire. La communication relayée via l'un de ces éléments au moins se détecte (43) par l'augmentation des délais par rapport au délai utilisé par les stations mobiles en communication directe avec la station de base. La présente invention concerne également un système de détection d'éléments de réseau servant de relais pour les communications entre une station de base et une station mobile d'un réseau de communication cellulaire, lequel système comporte des moyens permettant de détecter une communication relayée via l'un de ces éléments au moins sur la base de l'augmentation des délais par rapport aux délais utilisés par les stations mobiles en communication directe avec la station de base. La présente invention concerne enfin un élément de réseau pour réseau de communication cellulaire, lequel élément comprend un système permettant d'identifier les éléments servant de relais pour les communications sur la base des délais de communication.
