Die Erfindung betrifft eine strangförmige Verglasungsdichtung mit einem Basisteil (1), einem Befestigungsteil zum Befestigen der Dichtung in und/oder an einem Rahmen (14) oder einer Glashalteleiste (14a) und einer vom Basisteil (1) abstehenden Dichtlippe (4) aus zelligem elastomeren bzw. gummielastischen Material, wie Schaum- oder Moosgummi, wobei der Querschnitt der Dichtlippe (4) mindestens einen größeren Hohlraum (4a) aufweist. Der Hohlraumquerschnitt (Qh) der Dichtlippe (4) weist im Vergleich zum Dichtlippenquerschnitt (einschließlich des Hohlraumquerschnitts) (Qd) einen Wert zwischen 0,09 und 0,25 auf. Der Hohlraumquerschnitt (Qh) ist dabei im wesentlichen dreieck- oder trapezförmig geformt und weist gerundete Ecken auf. Das zellige Material der Dichtungslippe (4) besteht aus einem geschlossenzelligen Schaumstoff mit einer Shore-A-Härte zwischen 10 und 60. Dadurch läßt sich die Verglasungsdichtung faltenfrei um Ecken umlenken und überbrückt dabei gut dichtend große Toleranzen der Spaltbreiten zwischen der Glas- oder dergleichen Scheibe einerseits und dem Rahmen bzw. der Halteleiste andererseits.

The invention relates to an extruded-shaped glazing seal comprising a base part (1), a part that is used to secure the seal in and/or on a frame (14) or a glass-retaining strip (14a) and a sealing lip (4) that stands out from the base part (1) and is made of a cellular elastomer or rubber elastic material such as foam rubber or sponge rubber. The cross section of the sealing lip (4) consists of at least one relatively large cavity (4a). The ratio of the cross section of the cavity (Qh) of the sealing lip (4) in comparison with the cross section of the sealing lip (including the cross section of the cavity) ranges from 0.09 to 0.25. The cross section of the cavity (Qh) has a substantially triangular or trapezoidal shape and has rounded corners. The cellular material of the sealing lip (4) is made of a closed-cell foam material with a Shore A hardness of between 10 and 60. This enables the glazing seal to be diverted around corners without any folds occurring and, by virture of its tightness, compensates for large tolerances in the width of the gaps between the glass or the same pane and the frame or retaining strip.

L'invention concerne un élément d'étanchéité en forme de profilé pour vitrage, comportant une partie de base (1), une partie servant à fixer l'élément d'étanchéité dans et/ou sur un cadre (14) ou une baguette de maintien de vitre (14a), ainsi qu'une lèvre d'étanchéité (4) s'écartant de la partie de base (1), constituée d'un matériau élastomère cellulaire ou possédant l'élasticité du caoutchouc, par exemple en caoutchouc mousse, la section transversale de la lèvre d'étanchéité (4) présentant au moins une cavité supérieure (4a). Le rapport entre la section transversale (Qh) de la cavité de la lèvre d'étanchéité (4) et la section transversale (Qd) de la lèvre d'étanchéité (4) (section transversale de la cavité inclue) est compris entre 0,09 et 0,25. La section transversale (Qh) se présente pratiquement sous la forme d'un triangle ou d'un trapèze et comporte des coins arrondis. Le matériau cellulaire de la lèvre d'étanchéité (4) est constitué de mousse à cellules fermées présentant une dureté Shore A comprise entre 10 et 60. L'élément d'étanchéité pour vitrage peut ainsi être coudé autour des coins sans formation de pli et compense, en assurant une bonne étanchéité, les tolérances importantes des largeurs d'espace entre les vitres d'une part et entre la vitre et le cadre ou la baguette de maintien d'autre part.
