Abstract

Drugs for relieving carbonyl stress in the peritoneal cavity to be used in peritoneal dialysates which contain carbonyl compound-trapping agents as the active ingredient. Carbonyl compounds formed and accumulated during peritoneal dialysis are inactivated or eliminated by carbonyl compound-trapping agents such as aminoguanidine. Carbonyl compounds formed during the sterilization and storage of peritoneal dialysates are eliminated by preliminarily bringing into contact with the trapping agents. Further, addition of the trapping agents to peritoneal dialysates or circulation of the trapping agents by using a cartridge for trapping carbonyl compounds makes it possible to eliminate carbonyl compounds originating in the blood of the patients which flow into the peritoneal cavity as the dialysis proceeds. Thus, modification of proteins in the peritoneal cavity can be inhibited and peritoneal damage in association with peritoneal dialysis can be relieved.

Médicaments de sédation de l'agression du carbonyle dans la cavité péritonéale à utiliser dans les dialysats péritonéaux, contenant des agents de piégeage des composés carbonylés comme principe actif. Les composés carbonylés formés et accumulés pendant la dialyse péritonéale sont inactivés ou éliminés par des agents de piégeage des composés carbonylés tels que l'aminoguanidine. Les composés carbonylés formés pendant la stérilisation et la conservation de dialysats péritonéaux sont éliminés par une mise en contact préliminaire avec les agents de piégeage. De plus, l'addition des agents de piégeage aux dialysats péritonéaux ou la circulation des agents de piégeage à l'aide d'une cartouche de piégeage des composés carbonylés permet d'éliminer lesdits composés carbonylés apparaissant dans le sang des patients s'écoulant dans la cavité péritonéale à mesure que l'on procède à la dialyse. Ainsi, la modification des protéines dans la cavité péritonéale peut être inhibée et la détérioration péritonéale associée à la dialyse péritonéale peut être allégée.
