Abstract
(EN) A method of identifying and sorting battery power packs, which comprises measuring the apparent density of the power packs and establishing a correlation between the measured apparent density and at least one identified basic fundamental physical property of the power pack, such as its length. The apparent density of the battery pack can be obtained by (i) measuring the volume of the battery pack (for example with a 3D Laser profile sensor) and its dimensions with the battery pack moving at constant speed on a belt and (ii) measuring its weight.
(FR) Procédé servant à identifier et à trier des accumulateurs d'électricité, ce qui consiste à mesurer la densité apparente de ces accumulateurs et à établir une corrélation entre la densité apparente mesurée et au moins une propriété physique fondamentale de base identifiée de l'accumulateur, telle que sa longueur. On peut obtenir la densité apparente de l'accumulateur par (i) mesure du volume de l'accumulateur (par exemple, au moyen d'un capteur de profil laser tridimensionnel) et de ses dimensions, l'accumulateur se déplaçant à vitesse constante sur une bande transporteuse, et (ii) mesure de son poids.
