The invention generally has for its object to provide a safety illumination assembly which is wholly independent of any external power source and is sufficiently capable of illuminating the immediate vicinity such that a user can easily find the correct path therein. With a view to the above, the invention provides an illumination assembly (1, 21), comprising: a housing (16, 22); at least one electric lamp (11, 12, 13, 25, 26, 27, 28) supported in this housing and generating light toward the outside; a space present in this housing for accommodating at least one battery (2, 23); terminals present in this space for the at least one battery; a movement sensor (4) which generates a movement signal when a movement is detected and when the local light intensity has a value below a determined reference value; a switch (5) which is connected between at least one terminal and the lamp and which is controlled by the movement sensor such that when a movement signal is generated by the movement sensor the switch is closed and is held closed for a determined time interval.

D'une manière générale, l'invention à pour objet un ensemble d'éclairage sécurisé, totalement indépendant de toute source d'alimentation extérieure et capable d'éclairer de façon satisfaisante une zone dans son entourage immédiat, de manière à permettre à un utilisateur de trouver facilement son chemin à l'intérieur de cette zone. L'ensemble d'éclairage de l'invention est ainsi constitué de ce qui suit: un boîtier; au moins une lampe électrique reposant à l'intérieur du boîtier et générant une lumière dirigée vers l'extérieur; un espace à l'intérieur du boîtier servant à accueillir au moins une batterie; des bornes pour au moins une batterie, disposées à l'intérieur de cet espace; un détecteur de mouvements qui génère un signal de mouvement lorsqu'un mouvement est détecté et lorsque l'intensité de la lumière ambiante tombe au-dessous d'une valeur de référence prédéterminée; et un interrupteur connecté entre au moins une borne et la lampe, commandé par le capteur de mouvements de manière à fermer le circuit lorsqu'un signal de mouvement est détecté par le détecteur de mouvements et à le maintenir fermé pendant un laps de temps prédéterminé.
