A three stage hydroprocessing process includes two liquid and one vapor reaction stages, both of which produce an effluent comprising liquid and vapor. Both vapor effluents comprise vaporized hydrocarbonaceous material. Fresh hydrogen is used for the hydroprocessing in both liquid stages. The second stage liquid effluent comprises the product liquid. The first stage liquid effluent is the feed for the second stage. The first stage vapor effluent is hydroprocessed in the vapor stage and then cooled to condense and recover at least a portion of the processed vapor as additional product liquid.

Ce procédé d'hydrotraitement à trois étages comprend deux étages de réaction liquides et un étage de réaction vapeur, les deux premiers produisant un effluent comprenant du liquide et de la vapeur. Les effluents vapeur de ces deux étages comprennent une matière hydrocarbonée vaporisée. Dans les deux étages liquides, on utilise de l'hydrogène pur pour l'hydrotraitement. L'effluent liquide du second étage comprend le liquide produit. L'effluent liquide du premier étage constitue la charge d'alimentation du second étage. L'effluent vapeur du premier étage est hydrotraité dans l'étage vapeur, puis refroidi afin de condenser et récupérer au moins une portion de la vapeur traitée, en tant que liquide produit additionnel.
