Die Erfindung betrifft eine Trägerplatte für die geordnete Aufnahme einer Vielzahl von Probenpartikeln, die insbesondere im automatisierten Laborbetrieb im Bereich der Analytik sowie der kombinatorischen Chemie zum Einsatz gelangt. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung, eine derartige Trägerplatte zu schaffen, in die hochpräzise, schnell und mit geringem Aufwand eine exakte und dosierte Verbringung einzelner Probenpartikel ermöglicht ist, wird durch einen Träger (1) gelöst, der mit in einem wiederholenden Raster regelmässig angeordneten Kavitäten (11) versehen ist, wobei die Kavitäten derart ausgebildet sind, dass sie jeweils die Aufnahme lediglich eines Mikropartikels (12) ermöglichen, wozu die Kavitäten (11) mit Öffnungen (111) versehen sind, deren lichte Weite im wesentlichen dem Durchmesser eines Mikropartikels (12) in trockenem oder feuchtem Zustand entspricht und die Tiefe der Kavitäten (11) derart festgelegt ist, dass sich bei horizontaler Translation der Mikropartikel (12) ein Kontaktpunkt (113) mit einer Wandung (112) der Kavität (11) ergibt, dessen senkrechter Abstand vom tiefsten Bodenpunkt des Bodens (114) der Kavität grösser als der Radius des Mikropartikels (12) ist.

The invention relates to a support plate for receiving in an ordered manner a plurality of sample particles, which is used especially in automated laboratories working in the areas of analysis and combinatorial chemistry. The aim of the invention is to provide such a support plate into which exactly metered doses of individual sample particles can be introduced highly precisely, rapidly and economically. To this end a support (1) is used which comprises cavities (11) that are regularly arranged in a repetitive pattern and said cavities are configured such that they can each receive only one microparticle (12). To this end the cavities (11) have openings (111) whose internal diameter substantially corresponds to the diameter of a dry or wet microparticle (12) and the depth of the cavities (11) is such that when the microparticle (12) effects a horizontal translatory movement a point of contact (113) between a side (112) of the cavity (11) is established, whose vertical distance from the lowest point of the floor (114) of the cavity is greater than the radius of the microparticle (12).

L'invention concerne une plaque support pour loger de façon ordonnée une pluralité de particules d'échantillon, ladite plaque étant utilisée en particulier dans le fonctionnement automatisé de laboratoires dans le domaine des techniques analytiques et de la chimie combinatoire. L'invention vise à créer une telle plaque support permettant de loger de façon exacte et dosée des particules individuelles d'échantillon, avec une grande précision, de manière rapide et simple. A cet effet, on utilise un support (1) pourvu de cavités (11) disposées de manière régulière selon un motif récurrent, lesdites cavités étant formées de façon à permettre le logement d'une seule microparticule (12) à chaque fois. Les cavités sont pourvues d'ouvertures (111) dont le diamètre intérieur correspond pratiquement au diamètre d'une microparticule (12) à l'état sec ou humide, et la profondeur des cavités (11) est fixée de sorte que, lors d'une translation horizontale des microparticules (12), un point de contact (113) s'établisse avec une paroi (112) de la cavité (11), la distance verticale de ce point par rapport au point le plus profond du fond (114) de la cavité étant supérieure au rayon de la microparticule (12).
