Title (EN) INHALANT MEDICATOR
(FR) INHALATEUR DE MEDICAMENTS
Abstract:
(EN) A medical inhaler having a body (1) comprising at one end a capsule housing hole (6), at the other end an inhalation port (4), an inflow air passageway (7), a first pin insertion hole (7B) for communicating the capsule housing hole (6) with the atmosphere, an outflow air passageway (8), a second pin insertion hole (8B) for communicating the capsule housing hole with the inhalation port (4) and a boring tool (10) having pins for pricking holes (H) in a capsule (K) accommodated in the capsule housing hole (6). Also provided is a flow-constriction orifice (15, 24A, 37, 38, 24C, 23C, 15') disposed in at least one of the inflow and outflow air passageways (7, 8) and having an orifice size less than the flow passage area of each of the holes (H).
