(EN)The mulch comprises a sheet of cellulose fibres having a basis weight between about 40 g/m?2¿ and 60 g/m?2¿. The sheet has at least one face coated with a layer of polylactide, which is used in an amount such that it weighs between about 2 g/m?2¿ and 15 g/m?2¿. The preparation is carried out by depositing on the sheet an amount of a liquid layer of polylactide such that when it solidifies, it weighs between about 2 g/m?2¿ and 15 g/m?2¿, and allowing the layer to solidify to adhere to the sheet and constitute the mulch. This mulch has a programmed duration of biodegradation which makes it particularly useful in the agricultural field.
(FR)L'invention concerne un paillis qui comprend une feuille de fibres de cellulose dont le poids de base se situe entre 40 g/m?2¿ et 60 g/m?2¿. Cette feuille comporte au moins une face recouverte d'une couche de polylactide qui est utilisée selon une quantité telle que son poids est compris entre 2 g/m?2¿ et 15 g/m?2¿. La préparation est réalisée en déposant sur la feuille une quantité d'une couche liquide de polylactide telle que lorsqu'elle se solidifie, elle pèse entre 2 g/m?2¿ et 15 g/m?2¿. On laisse ensuite la couche se solidifier pour adhérer à la feuille et constituer le paillis. Ce paillis présente une durée de biodégradation programmée qui le rend particulièrement utile dans le domaine agricole.
