(EN)In a method for stepwise printing of a continuous material web (4), in particular a textile web, the printing is carried out by means of one or more jet nozzles of a printing station (9). According to the invention, the material web (4) is guided, freely suspended, in an upward direction past said one or more jet nozzles at a substantially constant web tension. During the carrying out of the method, no large quantities of waste are produced, and little substrate loss occurs during starting up of the printing. Furthermore, staining on parts of the device is prevented. A device for carrying out the method is also described.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé d'impression progressive d'une bande continue de matériau (4), en particulier d'une bande de textile. Selon ce procédé, l'impression se fait au moyen d'une ou de plusieurs buses d'un poste d'impression (9). La bande de matériau (4), qui pend librement, est guidée vers l'amont derrière ces buses, la tension de la bande restant constante. La mise en oeuvre de ce procédé permet de réduire la quantité de déchets et de minimiser les pertes de substrat lors du lancement de l'impression. En outre, ce procédé permet de réduire le tachage des pièces qui font partie du dispositif. L'invention concerne également un dispositif destiné à mettre en oeuvre le procédé en question.
