Abstract
(EN) A system and method for reducing or eliminating the transference of mobile terminal mobility management information caused by temporary signal interferences blocking communications is disclosed. When the distance of a mobile terminal from a base station servicing a first network system exceeds a threshold value, the mobile terminal's distances from other base stations (servicing other network systems) are determined and the shortest distance, corresponding to a second network system, is selected and control transferred. The mobility management information for the mobile terminal, however, resident within the first network system, remains within the first network system after the control transference, the information being accessible by the second network system via a packet switch interconnecting the first and second network systems.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de réduction ou d'élimination du transfert de données de gestion de mobilité d'un terminal mobile, transfert provoqué par des interférences de signaux temporaires bloquant les communications. Lorsque la distance d'un terminal mobile à une station de base desservant un premier système en réseau dépasse une valeur seuil, les distances du terminal mobile aux autres stations de base (desservant d'autres systèmes en réseau) sont déterminées et on sélectionne et procède à un transfert de commande de la distance la plus courte correspondant à un deuxième système en réseau. Cependant, les données de gestion de mobilité du terminal mobile, qui résident dans le premier système en réseau, restent dans le premier système en réseau après le transfert de commande, le deuxième système en réseau ayant accès aux données via un commutateur de paquets reliant le premier et le deuxième système en réseau.
