(EN)Steel plates for manufacturing drum cans; one with its N content set to 0.0050-0.0200 wt.% to increase solid solution of N, and the other with its Nb content set to 0.003-0.10 wt.% to fine an average crystal grain size; these steel plates having high normal-temperature and high-temperature strengths and a high low-temperature tenacity as compared with a conventional steel plate of this kind. A drum can using these steel plates and, as a result, having a high recycling frequency, a thin wall thickness and a light weight as compared with a conventional one; and a method of reliably manufacturing such steel plates.
(FR)Cette invention a trait à des plaques d'acier servant à la fabrication de fûts. La teneur en azote (N) de l'une de ces plaques est comprise entre 0,0050 et 0,0200 % en pourcentage pondéral afin d'augmenter la solution solide de N et la teneur en niobium (Nb) de l'autre est comprise entre 0,003 et 0,10 % en pourcentage pondéral afin de réduire la grosseur moyenne du grain cristallin. Ces plaques d'acier font montre d'une remarquable résistance à des températures normales et élevées ainsi que d'une grande ténacité à basse température et ce, en comparaison des plaques d'acier traditionnelles de ce type. L'invention, qui concerne également un fût fabriqué au moyen de ces plaques et, de ce fait, facilement recyclable à maintes reprises, aux parois minces et qui est léger en comparaison des fûts classiques, porte, en outre, sur un procédé fiable de fabrication de ces plaques d'acier.
