Abstract
(EN) A self docking instrument panel connector system is provided with a first connector member (18) attached to an instrument panel assembly (12). A second connector member (20) is attached to a body of a vehicle (16) and is designed to mate with the first connector member (18). One of the connector members (20) is adjustably supported to be movable in first and second lateral directions and in a longitudinal direction in order to accommodate for build tolerances and component insertion variances.
(FR) Système connecteur de tableau de bord à connexion automatique, qui possède un premier élément connecteur (18) attaché à un ensemble (12) tableau de bord. Un second élément connecteur (20) est attaché à la carrosserie du véhicule (16) et est destiné à s'apparier au premier élément connecteur (18). L'un des éléments connecteurs (20) est retenu de manière réglable de façon à être mobile dans des premier et second sens latéraux et dans le sens longitudinal afin de s'adapter aux tolérances de construction et aux variations dues à l'introduction des pièces.
