(EN)New sensors for the qualitative and quantitative determination of carbon dioxide in aqueous and gaseous media are described, which consist essentially of a carrier and a light-sensitive layer applied to this carrier. The essential feature of the new sensors consists in the fact that, in addition to a polymer and an anionic fluorescence dye, the light-sensitive layer contains a quaternary onium phenolate, especially a quaternary ammonium phenolate. The sensors are notable for their good long-term stability.
(FR)L'invention concerne de nouveaux capteurs permettant de mesurer qualitativement et quantitativement le dioxyde de carbone contenu dans des milieux aqueux et gazeux. Ces capteurs sont essentiellement formés d'un support et d'une couche photosensible appliquée sur ce support. La caractéristique principale de ces nouveaux capteurs est, outre le fait que la couche photosensible renferme un polymère et un colorant anionique fluorescent, que cette dernière renferme également un phénolate d'onium quaternaire, en particulier un phénolate d'ammonium quaternaire. Il est à remarquer que ces capteurs présentent une bonne stabilité sur le long terme.
