Abstract
(EN) A process for functionalizing polymers prepared by carbocationic polymerization wherein a living carbocationic polymerization system is reacted with one or more aromatic ring systems, and the use of substituted or unsubstituted reaction products of said process in lubricating oil or fuel compositions and additive concentrates, for example as dispersant, detergent or antioxidant additives or VI improvers.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de fonctionnalisation de polymères préparés par polymérisation carbocationique, un système de polymérisation carbocationique vivant étant mis en réaction avec un ou plusieurs systèmes de noyaux aromatiques; l'invention concerne également l'utilisation de produits de réaction substitués ou non substitués de ce procédé dans des compositions d'huile de lubrification ou de carburant et des concentrés d'additifs, par exemple comme additifs d'agents de dispersion, de détergents ou d'antioxydants ou additifs d'indice de viscosité.
