Abstract
(EN) A motor drive unit for a vehicular door mirror assembly, in which a motor drive mechanism (3) for turning a visor (2) relative to a stay (1) is provided with a visor-side ring (3n) and a stay-side ring (3p), respectively, having inclines (3q, 3q'). When the visor (2) is turned to a housing position from a use position, the incline (3q) on the visor-side ring (3n) begins to run on the incline (3q') on the stay-side ring (3p). Accordingly, it is possible to ensure certain clearances (C1, C2) required for smooth turning of the visor (2) between the visor (2) and the stay (1). When the visor (2) reaches the housing position, a plane (3r) on the visor-side ring (3n) completely runs on a mountain portion (3s') on the stay-side ring (3p). When the visor (2) is reversely turned to the use position from the housing position, the inclines (3q, 3q') slip down relative to each other, whereby the clearances (C1, C2) between the visor (2) and the stay (1) are almost closed when the visor (2) sufficiently approaches the use position, thus preventing whistling noise generated by running vehicles.
(FR) L'invention porte sur une unité motorisée d'entraînement d'un rétroviseur extérieur de véhicule comportant un mécanisme (3) motorisé faisant tourner le miroir (2) par rapport à son embase (1) comprenant un anneau côté miroir (3n) et un anneau côté embase (3p) formant des plans inclinés respectifs (3q et 3q'). Lorsque le miroir (2) passe de la position déployée à la position repliée, le plan incliné (3q) côté miroir commence à pivoter sur le plan incliné (3q') côté embase. On obtient ainsi entre le miroir (2) et l'embase (1) des jeux (C1, C2) permettant une rotation aisée. Lorsque le miroir (2) atteint la position repliée, un plan (3r) de l'anneau côté miroir coulisse intégralement sur une bosse (3s') de l'anneau (3p) côté embase. Lorsque le miroir (2) revient en position d'utilisation, les plans inclinés (3q et 3q') coulissent l'un par rapport à l'autre et les jeux (C1, C2) entre le miroir (2) et l'embase (1) sont presqu'entièrement supprimés au moment où le miroir (2) va atteindre la position d'utilisation, ce qui élimine les sifflements dus à la vitesse du véhicule.
