Abstract
(EN) Access to the Internet (2) is provided using a standard web browser (1, 4) with the additional use of speech recognition (8, 6, 9). Standard access to the Internet can then be gained using the telephone network (12).
(FR) Une commande ou des fonctions vocales sur un réseau tel que l'Internet sont exécutées à l'aide d'un système de reconnaissance de la parole fonctionnant de façon synchrone avec des fonctions d'Internet de bureau standard. Ce fonctionnement synchrone permet d'utiliser des commandes vocales pour toutes opérations sur l'Internet. Des fonctions système reposent sur une combinaison unique constituée d'un explorateur web local, d'un serveur web/vocal à distance, et de liaisons de commande entre un explorateur web et un serveur web/vocal. Les liaisons de commande constituent un mécanisme servant à commander un serveur vocal à partir d'une page web, et un mécanisme servant à commander à la fois l'explorateur web local et un explorateur web à distance.
