Abstract:
(EN) The invention concerns an absorbing element (3) having high and homogeneous neutron-absorbing capacity. To this end, said element (3) has a neutron-absorbing material wherein at least one neutron-absorbing substance, in particular boron, is integrated in an amorphous glass structure, the amorphous glass structure being preferably silica glass. Boron-containing silica glass is particularly suitable as neutron-absorbing material for an absorbing element (3) in a compact storage rack (26) for fuel elements.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un élément d'absorption (3) qui présente une capacité élevée et homogène d'absorption des neutrons. A cette fin, ledit élément (3) possède une matière absorbant les neutrons dans laquelle au moins une substance absorbant les neutrons, en particulier le bore, est intégrée dans une structure vitreuse amorphe. La structure vitreuse amorphe est de préférence un verre de silice. Le verre de silice contenant du bore est particulièrement approprié en tant que matière absorbant les neutrons pour un élément absorbant (3) dans un casier de stockage (26) compact pour éléments combustibles.
(DE) Um eine hohe und gleichmäßige Neutronenabsorptionsfähigkeit bei einem Absorberbauteil (3) zu erzielen, ist vorgesehen, daß das Absorberbauteil (3) einen Neutronen absorbierenden Werkstoff aufweist, bei dem zumindest ein Neutronen absorbierendes Element, insbesondere Bor, in einer amorphen glasartigen Struktur eingebunden ist. Bevorzugt ist die amorphe glasartige Struktur ein Silikatglas. Das Bor-Silikatglas eignet sich insbesondere als Neutronen absorbierender Werkstoff für ein Absorberbauteil (3) in einem Lagergestell (26) eines Brennelement-Kompaktlagers.
