(EN)This invention relates to a mutant $i(Escherichia coli) SS373 and the production of succinic acid by using the above strain. In detail, a novel $i(E. coli) SS373 (W3110 $i(pta)::$i(Tn10 ldhA)::$i(Km)) with the deficiency in the acetate and lactate forming pathways was constructed by genetic engineering technique. An aerobically grown SS373 was then cultured by means of the anaerobic condition shift during the succinate producing stage, which resulted in the efficient production of succinic acid with a higher yield.
(FR)Cette invention concerne un $i(Echerichia Coli) SS373 mutant et la production d'acide succinique utilisant la souche précitée. Plus particulièrement, on a construit par génie génétique un nouvel $i(E. Coli) SS373 (W3110 $i(pta)::$i(Tn10 ldhA)::$i(Km)) présentant une déficience au niveau des voies de formation d'acétate et de lactate. Ensuite on a mis en culture un SS373 développé par voie aérobie au moyen d'un décalage d'état anaérobie pendant la phase de production du succinate, dont le résultat a été la production efficace d'acide succinique à un rendement supérieur.
