Abstract:
(EN) An improved electrochemical generator is disclosed. The electrochemical generator includes a thin-film electrochemical cell which is maintained in a state of compression through use of an internal or an external pressure apparatus. A thermal conductor, which is connected to at least one of the positive or negative contacts of the cell, conducts current into and out of the cell and also conducts thermal energy between the cell and thermally conductive, electrically resistive material disposed on a vessel wall adjacent the conductor. The thermally conductive, electrically resistive material may include an anodized coating or a thin sheet of a plastic, mineral-based material or conductive polymer material. The thermal conductor is fabricated to include a resilient portion which expands and contracts to maintain mechanical contact between the cell and the thermally conductive material in the presence of relative movement between the cell and the wall structure. The electrochemical generator may be disposed in a hermetically sealed housing.
(FR) L'invention concerne un générateur électrochimique amélioré. Ce générateur électrochimique comprend une pile électrochimique à couche mince maintenue dans un état de compression par l'intermédiaire d'un dispositif exerçant une pression intérieure ou extérieure. Un conducteur thermique, branché sur au moins un des contacts positif ou négatif de la pile, véhicule le courant vers l'intérieur et hors de la pile et véhicule également l'énergie thermique entre la pile et le matériau présentant une conductivité thermique et une résistance électrique, situé sur la paroi d'une enveloppe en position contiguë au conducteur. Ce matériau peut comporter un revêtement anodisé ou une pellicule d'un matériau plastique à base minérale ou d'un matériau polymère conducteur. Ce conducteur thermique est fabriqué de façon à comprendre une partie élastique qui se dilate et se contracte afin de maintenir un contact mécanique entre la pile et le matériau présentant une conductivité thermique, en présence d'un déplacement relatif entre la pile et la structure de paroi. Ce générateur électrochimique peut être placé dans un boîtier scellé hermétiquement.
