(EN)The present invention relates to the process for the preparing of L-carnitine expressed by formula (1), which is useful in industrial mass production due to the fact that each reaction in the aqueous solution phase is continuously carried out in a reactor without separate purification process. More particularly, this invention relates to such process, wherein (S)-3-activated hydroxybutyrolactone is utilized as a raw material so as to undergo the following chemical reactions under the specific conditions: a ring-opening reaction, epoxydation at the chiral center which is inversely converted, and nucleophilic substitution of trimethylamine.
(FR)Procédé de préparation de L-carnitine de formule (1), qui est utile pour la production industrielle en masse en raison du fait que chaque réaction dans la phase de solution aqueuse est effectuée en continu dans un réacteur sans processus de purification séparé. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne un procédé selon lequel de l'hydroxybutyrolactone (S)-3-activée est utilisée en tant que matière première et est soumise aux réactions chimiques suivantes dans les conditions spécifiques: réaction d'ouverture de cycle, époxydation au niveau du centre chiral qui est converti de manière inverse et substitution nucléophilique de triméthylamine.
