Abstract
(EN) A launch aircraft (30) launches a bomb (10) at a target (36) and uses a radar (31) to transmit a predefined waveform (35) at the bomb (10) and target (36). The bomb (10) incorporates a transponder that frequency shifts the transmitted waveform and illuminates the target with a shifted waveform (33) having a null at the center of its beam pattern. The initially transmitted waveform and frequency shifted waveform are reflected from the target and are received by the radar. The received signals are processed to generate a correction signal (32) that is a function of the offset between the null of the frequency shifted waveform and the target location. The correction signal is transmitted to the bomb and is processed therein to correct the flight path of the bomb toward the target.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un avion de lancement (30) permettant de lancer une bombe (10) sur une cible (36) et utilisant un radar (31) pour émettre une forme d'onde prédéfinie (35) sur la bombe et la cible (36). La bombe (10) comprend un transpondeur qui décale en fréquence la forme d'onde émise et éclaire la cible avec une forme d'onde décalée (33) présentant un minimum au centre de son diagramme de faisceaux. La forme d'onde émise initialement ainsi que la forme d'onde décalée en fréquence sont réfléchies par la cible et reçues par le radar. Les signaux reçus sont traités de manière à produire un signal de correction (32) dépendant du décalage entre le minimum de la forme d'onde décalée en fréquence et l'emplacement de la cible. Le signal de correction est émis vers la bombe où il est traité, de sorte que la trajectoire de vol de la bombe en direction de la cible soit corrigée.
