Abstract:
(EN) An apparatus for detecting at least one receptor in a biological sample in a flow stream for immunoassays, complex genetic analyses, and enzymatic assays. The biological sample includes a carrier having an indicator, such as a fluorescent dye, and a reactant that reacts to the receptor. The indicator indicates a presence of the receptor upon excitation by light having a wavelength or a band of wavelengths. The apparatus includes a viewing chamber (1) for receiving the biological sample in the flow stream and for displaying the same. Light sources (10, 12, 14, 16) are arranged around the viewing chamber so as to emit light sequentially, simultaneously, or substantially simultaneously toward substantially identical or overlapping focal regions in the viewing chamber (1). At least one optical detector (20, 22, 24, 26) is configured to detect light emitted from the sample responsive to light emitted from the light sources.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil pour détecter au moins un récepteur dans un échantillon biologique contenu dans un courant pour immunodosages, analyses génétiques complexes et méthodes enzymatiques. L'échantillon biologique comprend un véhicule ayant un indicateur, comme un colorant fluorescent, et un réactif qui réagit au récepteur. L'indicateur signal la présence du récepteur lorsqu'il est excité par de la lumière ayant une certaine longueur d'onde ou une certaine bande de longueurs d'onde. Ledit appareil comprend une chambre d'observation (1) qui reçoit l'échantillon biologique dans le courant et permet de le visualiser. Des sources lumineuses (10, 12, 14, 16) sont placées autour de la chambre d'observation de sorte que de la lumière soit émise séquentiellement et simultanément, ou sensiblement simultanément, en direction de régions focales sensiblement identiques ou se chevauchant, situées dans la chambre d'observation (1). Au moins un détecteur optique (20, 22, 24, 26) est conçu pour détecter la lumière émise par l'échantillon en réponse à la lumière émise par les sources lumineuses.
